STEERING
HYDRAULICS CONTROL MODULE
The G165 Max II tractor is equipped with a module for mechanical control of hydraulic valves.
The positional controller has an electronic control unit.
The linear, ergonomic arrangement of the controls makes it easier for the operator to access them at arm's length.
A SPACIOUS, MODERN CABIN
The base configuration of the McCormick G165 Max II tractor includes 12 work lights with halogen lamps:
— 4 lights around the perimeter of the cabin roof; — 4 lights on the hood; — 4 lights on the cabin pillars.
NEF 67 ENGINE
All G Max II tractors are equipped with NEF 67 engines from the world's leading manufacturer FPT. These engines have proven to be reliable and low-maintenance in Russian operating conditions.
The engine is equipped with: — a rotary fuel injection pump; — an air purification filter with an ejector; — a fuel filter with a pre-cleaning system and a water separator; — a cooling fan with visco coupling.
The 6-cylinder engine of the G165 Max II tractor has a volume of 6.7 liters and produces 691 Nm of torque, as well as a maximum power output of 165 hp.
THE STURDY XTRASHIFT TRANSMISSION
The G165 Max II tractor is equipped with a 6-range semi-automatic gearbox that provides 54 forward and 18 reverse speeds.
The transmission has compact dimensions and a high margin of safety. This allows the tractor to withstand a maximum weight of 10300 kg.
The maximum transmission speed is limited to 40 km/h. With a creeper gear installed, the minimum speed is 340 m/h.
Switching between ranges is done manually with an interruption in torque delivery.
Switching speeds within one range occurs without interrupting the torque delivery.
A COMPACT RIGID-STRUCTURE CHASSIS
The wheelbase of the G 165 Max II tractor is 2800 cm.
The rear axle is equipped with a differential lock and can withstand a load of 7100 kg.
The front axle has a differential lock and can withstand a load of 4200 kg.
Differential lock and all wheel drive control is electrohydraulic.
G165 Max II uses a dual-circuit CCLS class hydraulic system with a piston pump.
The tractor comes with a pump operating at 110 l/min.
The steering system has a separate pump operating at 38 l/min.
The basic configuration of the tractor includes 3 pairs of mechanically controlled distribution valves with a capacity of 60 l/min.
If desired, up to 5 pairs of valves can be installed.
An installation of a pair of valves with flow regulation is possible.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE HYDRAULICS
A POWERFUL HITCH
McCormick G165 Max II is equipped with a 3rd category rear hitch with powerful hydraulic cylinders that are 100 mm in diameter and provide a load capacity of 8400 kg.
A height-adjustable tow hitch is installed on the tractor for transport operations, and a rotary traction bar is installed for working with field implements.
Lower levers are equipped with quick-release hinges.
ELECTRONIC CONTROL
The McCormick G165 Max II tractor is equipped with an electronic rear hitch control unit.
RELIABLE PTO
The McCormick G165 Max II tractor has a 2-speed PTO with a friction clutch — 540; — 540E; — 1000.
The basic configuration includes two removable flange-type shanks: — a shaft with a diameter of 1’ 3/8” by 21 slots; — shaft with a diameter of 1’ 3/8” by 6 slots.
The PTO operates under electrohydraulic control.
SMOOTH HALF-AXLES (OPTION)
G Max II tractor’s rear axle can be retrofitted with smooth semi-axles.
A FRONT HITCH AND PTO SHAFT (OPTION)
The tractor can be retrofitted with a 1000 rpm front PTO shaft.
The shaft shank in its basic configuration has 6 slots and a diameter of 1’ 3/8”.
It is also possible to retrofit the tractor with a category 3N front hitch that offers a maximum load capacity of 3500 kg.
