VT-DRIVE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION

Our VT-Drive continuously variable transmission efficiently transforms the engine’s power into tractive power, ensuring high work performance and comfortable tractor operation.
The speed-change gearbox has high mechanical efficiency and consumes considerably less hydraulic power as opposed to alternatives.
Switching speeds within 4 power ranges occurs smoothly, without interrupting the power flow.
Smart electronic transmission control systems ensure that all field and transport work is carried out at maximal efficiency and minimal power consumption at the speed between 0.5 and 40 km/h.
SELECT THE TRANSMISSION’S OPERATING MODE FOR COMFORTABLE TRACTOR HANDLING
Automatic mode: onboard electronics set the engine rpm and the transmission gear ratios, optimizing these parameters to reach the tractor load determined by the operator.
AUTO
Manual transmission control mode: the operator controls the tractor’s speed and the engine rpm, whereas the onboard electronics manage the change and selection of the optimal transmission gear ratios.
MANUAL
A mode that allows the onboard electronics to maintain steady power at the PTO shaft regardless of the tractor’s speed of movement.

Cruise control mode: onboard electronics maintain the tractor’s speed at a constant value determined by the operator.

DSM- DIGITAL TRACTOR CONTROL SYSTEM
COMFORTABLE, INTUITIVE CONTROL
Data Screen Manager (DSM) is a digital onboard system that enables the operator to control all of the tractor’s technical systems by means of simple, intuitive interfaces on a big 12-inch display.
The operator can set up parameters for the engine performance, transmission, hydraulic and electric systems, as well as control their technical state and the progress status of the programmed tasks.
DSM interacts with ISOBUS to automate the implement control and achieve maximum efficiency.
SMART APS - AUTOMATIC POWER SHIFT SYSTEM
SMART TRACTION CONTROL
McCormick tractors outfitted with a P6-Drive transmission (a type of Full PowerShift) come with an intelligent system called Smart APS (Auto PowerShift) used for automatic power shifting control.
The operator can independently and manually set priorities that are to be followed by the system: maximum fuel savings (ECO mode) or maximum power output (Power mode).
The system’s controller processes the engine load data and chooses the appropriate gear for optimizing the engine load.
PSM - PRECISION AGRICULTURE TECHNOLOGIES
McCormick tractors are equipped with the most modern systems to work with precision agriculture technologies. You can choose between the electrical or the integrated hydraulic autopilot operating at signal reception accuracy from 30 to 1 cm.
All tractors are outfitted with the modern ISOBUS system sporting a TECU v1.0 controller.
For ensuring high-quality seeding operations, a radar-type sensor is used to determine the real tractor movement speed.
HUMAN FACTOR - OPERATOR’S WORK EFFICIENCY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
THE SOFTWARE ANALYZES THE OPERATOR’S ACTIONS WHEN THE TRACTOR IS IN USE
The program analyzes telemetry parameters that influence safety, comfort and cost-efficiency.
The owner of the tractor fleet receives the assessment results and can control the efficiency and progress of the operators’ work.
Based on the deviations discovered, the system visualizes the quality assessment of tractor control and offers recommendations on reaching the optimal values to the operator.
